About Us...
Welcome to Reflection Stories! We are Gary and Beverley Hartman. We recently celebrated our Golden Wedding anniversary by traveling British Columbia, Canada and we were amazed at the beauty and humbled by the scope of God’s majesty. The events of the past several months are calling us to pause…to reflect…to recall with gratitude, _the amazing stories and the kaleidoscope of faces and places that reside deep within our collective memories. These are our dreams fulfilled…our stories.
Why do we feel called, even compelled to record these many reflections on this web site? For starters, we are both in our early 70’s. And for clinchers, we found a verse from the Holy Bible that provided all the incentive we needed. It reads as follows:
Watch out! Be careful never to forget what you yourself have seen. Do not let these memories escape from your mind as long as you live! And be sure to pass them on to your children and grandchildren! Deut. 4:9 – NLV
Our hearts as Parents and Grandparents will answer that call from scriptures. We are choosing to carefully leave a legacy to our children and grandchildren by highlighting some of the watershed moments we have experienced during our journey. We will be careful never to forget how many times our lives have touched the untouchable, how many times our eyes have seen the impossible. Often we have felt the winds of His spirit and breathed in the invisible presence of God.
We call those times God Sightings – and we believe they happen to everyone who has eyes to see and ears to hear. Inside www.reflectionstories.com you will find an open invitation to share your God Sightings with the world. You don’t have to be a writer…our editors will assist with those details…there is no charge for this support.
Send us an email to [email protected] and together we can paint rainbows in the lives of all who choose to… open the eyes of their heart.
Together we can…Together we will… Gary and Bev
